Overview

The STUDSON SHK-1 Full Brim Non-Vented Dual Cert is built for job sites where electrical hazard protection is required — and where both US and Canadian compliance is non-negotiable. Carrying dual SEI-certified credentials — ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (R2019) Type II Class E and CSA Z94.1-15 Type II Class E — this safety helmet is rated for electrical environments up to 20,000 volts AC and meets the lateral impact requirements of both standards. One SKU. Two markets.

The interior mirrors the Dual Cert vented model — a Koroyd®-dominant construction covering the full inner shell, with Ionic+ pad sets at the top, front brow, and rear dial. The non-vented shell maintains the Class E electrical rating while the Koroyd® open-cell structure still supports airflow across the interior surface.

Koroyd® Interior Construction Koroyd®'s welded tube structure covers the full inner shell — engineered to crumple instantly on impact, absorbing maximum force and minimizing energy transferred to the head. Addresses both direct and angled impacts as required under Type II standards. Purpose-built to meet CSA Z94.1-15 Type II and ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 Type II Class E compliance.

Class E Electrical Protection The non-vented shell construction is required for Class E certification. Rated to protect against electrical hazards up to 20,000 volts AC. The right helmet for utility workers, electricians, and anyone operating near energized equipment.

Ionic+ Comfort Pad System Ionic+ antimicrobial pad sets at the top, front brow, and rear dial provide moisture-wicking comfort through long shifts. Designed to perform in high-heat, high-output environments.
