YOUR MISSION:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pad Printer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining pad printing equipment to ensure high-quality printing on various substrates. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and adjust pad printing machines according to job specifications.
  • Prepare inks, pads, clichés, and other necessary materials for printing operations.
  • Operate pad printing machines to produce high-quality prints on different materials.
  • Inspect printed products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical issues with printing equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of pad printing machines.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, maintenance, and material usage.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve processes.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Pad Printer Technician or in a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of pad printing equipment, inks, and substrates.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and machine programming.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with color mixing and ink formulation.
  • Familiarity with various printing techniques and manufacturing processes.

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing or production environment with exposure to inks, chemicals, and machine operations.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
