I took the plunge and spent the money. And I am happy I did.
I did have a small issue with the apex point of the short side of the strap so I reached out to CS, and she understood my issue completely and straight away. She sent me the fix just as quickly. And I made the fix that suited me perfectly.
I have 3 helmets for specific tasks:
- At height on a lift, I have a bump helmet.
- At height when I am rigging/climbing, a low profile GE helmet.
- On the ground, when climbers are overhead, the Studson.
As with any PPE I own, I hope to never need it. Still, when you unbox it, all shiny and chrome, you want to have confidence in it straight away. That was my experience with my Studson. And their Customer Support just added strongly and positively to my confidence.
Overall i like the helmet. However i odered the fiber metal thinking it would be a shiny copper color. Its brown
Super comfy, made with quality materials, this product is just overall solid for construction
workers or anyone who needs a hard hat.
The helmet fits and looks great. The only complaint I have is the visor mechanism sometimes easily pops off if handled wrong or bumped.
It’s really nice!! But I should have got the full brim. Otherwise I highly recommend!
