These passive helmet-mounted ear defenders deliver NRR 26 dB noise reduction and integrate directly with most Type I and Type II industrial safety helmets via a universal 30mm blade mount. No separate headband. No fumbling. Hearing protection that stays out of your way until you need it — and locks in place when you do.

Why the ED-3B

Three Positions. One Smooth Motion. The ED-3B arm assembly moves between three positions without removing your helmet:

• Working Position — Cups pressed firmly against ears for full noise attenuation
• Standby/Ventilation Position — Cups clicked slightly outward for short breaks without removal
• Parked Position — Cups rotated up onto the helmet shell for unobstructed work

Dielectric Construction. Built for Electrical Environments. The arm assembly is made from non-conductive dielectric plastic — designed for workers in or around electrical hazards where metal components aren't an option.

A Seal That Holds. Polyether foam cushions with PVC foil backing form an acoustic seal that conforms to your head and holds position across full shifts. The pivoting cups maintain consistent ear contact whether you're working overhead, crouching, or turning.

Balanced. Lightweight. All Day. At 248 grams for the pair, the ED-3B is designed to minimize side-weight imbalance on Type II helmets. ABS ear cups resist impact and UV degradation without adding unnecessary weight.
