YOUR MISSION:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Production Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team. This role supports both internal and customer-facing needs by preparing, adjusting, and finalizing artwork for custom pad printing on Studson safety helmets. You’ll ensure every design meets brand and production specs, maintains color accuracy, and is ready for smooth workflow handoff. This is a hands-on position that turns customer-supplied artwork into high-quality, production-ready deliverables.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Prepare and optimize artwork for pad printing and other decoration methods.
  • Verify and adjust file formats, color modes, resolution, and vector/raster setup for production accuracy.
  • Review and proof artwork for adherence to branding guidelines and customer specifications.
  • Identify and correct design or file issues before sending to production.
  • Adapt customer-supplied art into print-ready files without compromising quality or brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to clarify artwork needs and ensure timely file delivery.
  • Communicate technical requirements to non-technical team members in a clear, approachable way.
  • Maintain digital asset organization and consistent file naming conventions.
  • Support new design requests, mockups, and visual presentations as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Inkscape.
  • Strong understanding of vector vs. raster graphics, CMYK vs. RGB, and resolution standards.
  • Experience converting raster artwork into clean, production-ready vector files.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in every project.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot artwork for optimal print quality.
  • Strong communication skills and cross-department collaboration experience.
  • Familiarity with color management, brand consistency, and version control.
